"McClellan at Harrison's Landing" may be a preliminary drawing for W. W. Blackford's sketch of McClellan's position July 7, 1862 (LeGear XXVI, no. 99). This Confederate military reconnaissance map depicts Union defensive works; road obstructions; headquarters of A. P. Hill, Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee; topographical features, roads and residences. "Potomac Border" may be an unfinished copy of "Map of Loudoun County, Va., and parts of Farifax County, Va., Jefferson County, W. Va., and Washington and Frederick Counties Md." (LeGear XV, no. 44). It depicts natural features; towns, cities, and villages; roads and railroads; and military sites. A paper hand tracing accompanies this map.
